12 HOLY NIGHTS
Twelve Holy Nights
Today begins the Weihnachten, or also called the twelve holy nights.
The twelve holy nights are the time to properly end the old year and welcome the new. Your dreams play a big role in this.
"These are the nights of darkest darkness, when you make time for purification, meditation, foretelling the future and introspection," - Lunadea
Each night corresponds to a month of the new year. In the morning, try writing down your dreams. What meaning do they have?
12 holy nights
The Rauhnächte are twelve sacred nights out of time. Twelve nights in the darkest time of the year, when you reflect on the past year and look to the year ahead. They are the nights of darkest darkness, when you make time for purification, meditation, foretelling the future and introspection. Sacred nights that are traditionally meaningful and full of stories.
Weihnachten
When you look at the German word for Christmas, it all becomes a little clearer: Weihnachten. It refers to several holy nights, not just the one night when the holy child is said to be born. Weihnachten comes from the twelve holy nights, also called the Smoking Nights or Raw Nights. These were the nights when no work or washing was allowed. Nights that were actually out of time and in which you were therefore allowed to do "nothing" except prepare for what was to come.
Out of time
Where do the twelve nights come from? It is the difference in days between a solar year and a lunar year. A solar orbit, that is, a solar year from winter solstice to winter solstice, lasts 365¼ days. The lunar phases have an average length of 29.53059 days; it varies from about 29.27 to 29.83 days. Therefore, a lunar year has alternating months of 29 and 30 days.
Twelve lunar months, that is, twelve times from new moon to new moon, means 354 days (6 x 29 + 6 x 30). The difference then amounts to 11¼ days. So this annual difference of just over 11 days must be equalized. Because a day consists of day and night, these 11¼ days come close to 12 nights. It is a complicated calculation and yet our ancestors were already familiar with it!
Dreams full of meaning
Each night corresponds to a month of the new year. Pay attention to your dreams and try to write them down in the morning. See if you can discover a meaning for that particular month. In addition, each night also has its own meaning, which you can support with ceremony and meditation. By the way, you don't really have to perform these rituals at night. Night already begins after the sun has set. So you don't have to perform midnight rituals for twelve nights!
The great purification, with a wonderful ritual to cleanse yourself and the atmosphere around you no. Physical cleansing can be done by smoking sage or incense in your home.
I am speaking a new transmission for each Holy Night every day for the next 12 days. You can listen through this link
The holy nights in a row
The first night is the Mother Night, when the old sun dies in the womb of the mother. You honor the ancient sun at sunset with a ritual and eat a lot this night (link to transmission).
The second night: look back on the old year.
The third night: leave the old life behind.
The fourth night: make a sacrifice and leave behind what no longer serves you.
The fifth night: it is time to find your own path.
The sixth night: step from the old into the new year.
The seventh night: focus on your soul goals and find your balance.
The eighth night: connect with your guides and ancestors.
The ninth night: be protected by your ancestors.
The tenth night: open heart and soul to your spiritual abilities.
The eleventh night: who are you really?
The twelfth night: feel your life force!
Every night and day perform purification rituals. Purify through smoke. These nights are not called Smoking Nights for nothing! Smoke yourself and your home with incense. You may choose which incense to use. You can take sage for it, but mugwort is native and works the same way. You can also take a pellet incense, create your own incense mix or choose an incense for each night that fits the theme. As long as it produces smoke.
For the first six nights, focus your rituals on laying off old hurts and bringing closure to the old year. Burn sage every day for purification.
Ceremonial SALIE (SUKODAWABUK)
Sage is used in many different ways, it helps people prepare for ceremonies and teachings. Because it has a more medicinal nature and is stronger than Sweet grass, It is therefore used more often in ceremonies, because it has physical healing properties as well, you can boil sage and drink it as a tea. Sage is for releasing what is haunting your mind and for removing negative energy. It is used for cleansing homes, aura and sacred objects.
In the purification ritual you can use the following prayers, these prayers are from the book I AM words with healing power. By doing the following 'prayers' you affirm the 'Truth of BEING'. Energy follows attention. When you put your attention on these words and say them from your heart and in connection with your higher consciousness, your I AM, you direct your energy.
Speak them calmly and clearly with the focus on your Heart (your connection to your I AM).
Feel the Truth of the words. At first it may not feel like "true" at all. The more often you recite these words of healing power, the more you begin to experience their power. They clean your Mind, as it were, of all the beliefs you have built up that prevent you from feeling the Truth.
Beautiful prayers you can use with this:
Prayer 1 - Prayer for Self-Affirmation.
The Divine Self is in charge.
I AM one with the Divine Self.
I AM the only ruling Presence in my life. I AM Divinely protected by the Light of my Being. I close my aura and Light Body
For the lower astral levels of mind.
And I open myself now to the deepest Wisdom that I AM. Thank You, I AM, and SO IS IT.
Prayer 3 - Prayer for protection
The Light of the Divine Self surrounds me.
The Love of the Divine Self envelops me.
The Power of the Divine Self protects me.
The Presence of the Divine Self watches over me. Wherever I AM, there is my Divine Self.
And all is well.
Prayer 10 - Grounded in I AM
The Love of the Divine Self surrounds and fills me with comfort.
The Light of the Divine Self surrounds and fills me with peace.
The Energy of the Divine Self surrounds and fills me with blessings.
I AM now lifted into the loving Presence of my Divine Self that surrounds me and shines like a jewel.
I AM a radiant Being of Light,
which is anchored in the Heart of the Divine Self.
I AM blessed and loved by the Divine Self within me.
I AM grounded in my Divine Self.
I AM centered, steadfast and powerful in my Divine Self.
And I AM in deep peace.
Thank YOU, I AM, and SO IS IT.
124 - Healing the energy of buildings or spaces.
I now call upon the Holy Spirit
To lift this space to a higher level, to heal, cleanse, purify and bless.
The Divine Self is the center of Light that fills this space.
This Divine Energy permeates and fills this space.
Her Light shines and fills this space.
Her peace radiates and fills this space.
Her Grace pulsates and fills this space.
This space is now transformed into Divine Light.
This space is now healed by Divine Love.
This space is now immersed in Divine Energy.
This space is now bathed in Divine blessings.
This space is now immersed in the Presence of the Divine Self.
Thank YOU, I AM, and SO IS IT.
